Cisco can kill your account and keep your stuff

Cisco's terms give the company broad power over your account and what you upload. They're a networking and security giant, but their user agreement reads like they built in an escape hatch for almost any scenario.

Here's what you're actually signing up for:

🔴 Cisco terminates without warning. They can shut down your account immediately, for any reason, with no notice. They keep your data when they do.

🔴 Your content becomes theirs to use forever. Any content you upload gets a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide license to Cisco. They can use it as long as they want, wherever they want.

🟡 Hidden override clauses. If you're using certain Cisco services, those services' terms can contradict these main terms and win. You might not see that conflict coming.

🟡 Content removal, no heads-up. Cisco can reject, remove, or restrict your access to content without telling you first. No prior notice, no explanation required upfront.

🟢 Clear line on bad behavior. Cisco explicitly bans spam, phishing, harassment, and illegal activity. They spelled out what they won't tolerate.

B-grade terms: heavy-handed on termination and licensing, but at least transparent about what counts as abuse.
